Sustainable Wildlife Partnership: Off The Rails & Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary

At Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, we’re incredibly fortunate to have Jules Simpson and Off The Rails, Byron Bay as part of our Sanctuary family. Jules’ dedication, expertise, and unwavering support have been invaluable in helping us achieve things we couldn’t have done alone—for both our wildlife and our guests.

Pioneering Sustainability and Wildlife Conservation

Off The Rails continues to set the standard for sustainability and community collaboration by providing reclaimed timber for vital sanctuary projects. This partnership has been instrumental in shaping the sanctuary’s transformation into a premier bio-park, committed to preserving native wildlife and promoting sustainable practices.

A Generous Contribution

Jules and Off The Rails recently donated an additional $5,000 worth of reclaimed and recycled timber, bringing their total contribution to over $20,000. This remarkable support not only reflects Jules’ deep commitment to environmental sustainability but also strengthens the sanctuary’s ability to create a greener and more biodiverse future.

How We’re Using Reclaimed Timber

The sustainable timber has already made a significant impact:
🌱 Renovated entrance signage that provides a stunning and eco-friendly welcome to guests.
🌱 Enhanced key areas of the park, creating natural, beautiful spaces that complement our native wildlife.

These projects wouldn’t have been possible without the expertise and generosity of Jules, who has been there to provide solutions and advice every step of the way.
