VIP Behind-the-Scenes Wildlife Experience at the Sanctuary
Are you eager to get up close and personal with Australian wildlife?
Join us for an intimate guided tour with exclusive behind-the-scenes access, where you'll meet native animals one-on-one in Keeper-only areas and enjoy a guided exploration of the Sanctuary. This immersive experience offers insider knowledge of our animals and the operations of our wildlife facility.

“Easily 5 stars. In the VIP tour, the service was divine, a private guide for the whole time. Visit all their animals and participate in many encounters such as the free flight bird show and the chance to hold a barn owl. You also get to hold blue-tongue lizards and even a black-headed python. The experience includes the chance to hold and feed two sugar gliders - and those are only a few of the many animals at The Sanctuary. The food was outstanding. The gift shop was also astonishing. If you need something to do for the day, a way to entertain the kids or just want to visit, the Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary is the perfect place to go. Shout-out to our VIP tour guide Rachael for letting us embrace The Sanctuary.

Puggles Kids Club Vacation Care
Puggles Kids Club Vacation Care service is available in the school holidays from Monday to Friday, 8 am-5 pm, and is open to primary school children ages 5 to 8.

Wildlife Guardians
Your children can spend the day behind the scenes in the Wildlife Sanctuary, learning about conservation and caring for our wildlife. Available for children aged 8 to 12

Keeper for a Day
If you’re aged between 12 and 18 you can spend a day behind the scenes with one of our senior keepers during these school holidays. This program is great for kids who want to work with wildlife.
