At the Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, our mission is simple yet profound: to inspire our community to live in harmony with wildlife. One of the ways we bring this mission to life is through thoughtful design choices in our facilities. When it came time to revitalise our Dirawong Conference Room, we knew we wanted to create a space that was warm, inviting, and reflective of the natural world. This space is vital in our Sanctuary, hosting guests, schools, and visitors for education programs, workshops, and events. To align with our values, we partnered with Porta and selected their stunning Porta Contours® in Tasmanian Oak to clad the main wall of the room. The results are nothing short of spectacular.
The Porta Contours®Collection brought a sense of warmth and sophistication to the Dirawong Conference Room, helping us achieve our goal of bringing the outside in. The natural beauty of Tasmanian Oak transforms the space, creating an inspiring environment that fosters creativity, learning, and connection. Whether it’s a school group delving into wildlife education or a community event, this beautifully crafted wall serves as a backdrop that enhances every experience.
