Community Painting Day
October 22nd and 23rd from 10 am-4 pm
Join us for a Koala-ty Community Painting Day at Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary! Join us to help refresh our Sanctuary, makeover our buildings, and create a beautiful space for our wildlife and guests. Let’s come-together as a community to make a lasting impact while enjoying a day of creativity, fresh air, and fun!
Painting Day is on the Tuesday & Wednesday from 10 am-4 pm:
You can volunteer at any time during our painting day, whether you have a few hours, a whole day or can come for the whole two days, we’d love to have you help!
The painting day is located outside in the Park. Please wear appropriate clothing (you may get paint on your clothes so wear something you don’t mind getting dirty), sunscreen and bring a hat and drink bottle.
Lunch will be provided for all participants on the Painting Day and is complimentary.
Age: Ages 8 and above. Please note that WH&S must be observed at all times and you will be given an induction at 10am when you arrive.
Time: The Painting Day is scheduled for the 22nd and 23rd of October from 10 am-4 pm. When you arrive you will be assigned to a painting group/zone to complete a project within the grounds of The Sanctuary.
Forms: Please arrive and report to park entry on the day. All participants will be required to sign our volunteer forms prior to participating in the Painting Day.
Register: Please register your interest below so we can plan and cater accordingly. When you register we will contact you via the email and phone number provided to keep you up-to-date on anything concerning the Painting Day.
